Why The Best Golfers Eat Injectable Donuts When They Play
November 18, 2014
Tiger Woods. Bubba Watson. Phil Mickelson. If you're like me, you recognize these as the names of professional golfers. BUT...did you realize that nearly every top golfer on the PGA and LPGA tours have a secret to their success that is right there in the open? That's right, one simple and quick step that these folks take before (and often during) their rounds shaves several strokes off of their game. The secret. Injectable Donuts, of course!
It sounds impossible, but there are actually three aspects of Injectable Donuts that assist in improving a golfer's score. First, the doughy goodness itself provides incredible sustenance that is proven to be long-lasting. This alone has the potential to shave two strokes off of an 18-hole round. Next is the injection material. You will find this in Bavarian cream, chocolate, and raspberry. This stuff is like crack, kids, so don't eat too much. Picking up a new addiction, however, is a small price to pay for the immediate burst of focused energy you will receive upon munching on this gooey goodness. If you look closely, you will see Phil popping as many as a dozen of these beauties at the turn. There's a treatment center somewhere in Florida where retired golfers can go to wean themselves, but nobody really talks about it.
The third piece of the injectable donut puzzle is probably the most overlooked. Have you even noticed a tour golfer rubbing his or her hands together? Most often, this is seen on the greens while readying for a big putt. If the cameras had been following all along, what you would see is the golfer popping a donut or two, and THEN rubbing the sugar from the outside of the donut into his hands. This action provides superior grip on the club, and also tastes amazing for those golfers who are in the habit of licking their hands post putt.
So there you have it. The secret is now out there for the world to know. To get an even better understanding of the magical injectable donut, go ahead and catch this episode of The Hungry Cowboy. I'm visiting Top Golf in Austin, home of some dee-e-licious donuts and an entire food and drink menu. If you're a golfer or if you're not, Top Golf's injectable donuts are equal opportunity...they will addict anyone!
