Easter Eggs, Jellybean Martinis and Talking Bunnies!

It is almost Easter time once again! I love this springtime holiday and the sense of freshness and renewal it carries with it each year. Egg hunts, family dinners, everyone dressing up for church, Easter bonnets on the girls' heads...everything except those goofy Peeps! Those, I simply cannot tolerate. On this Easter-themed episode of 'The Hungry Cowboy', I will be dyeing eggs and creating a tart and tasty jellybean martini! As an added bonus, you will have an inside look at a very serious conversation between two famous bunnies. Happy Easter!
Jelly Bean Martini
1 oz jelly bean infused vodka*
3 oz champagne
1 lemon wedge
Put vodka in cocktail shaker with ice and shake to chill.
Add champagne and squeeze lemon wedge into shaker. Gently stir and strain into glass.
*To make jelly bean-infused vodka, place 1/2 cup vodka and 1/4 cup jelly beans in a glass jar for about 48 hours. Strain. Makes four ounces. (Use one color of jelly beans for best results.)
